A researcher in tumor biology, with a focus on Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma
(OSCC). Her work investigates the Hedgehog (HH) signaling pathway and its
relationship with tumor progression, angiogenesis, and the OSCC
microenvironment. A pioneer in identifying the reactivation of the HH pathway in
this disease, she has contributed to the discovery of new therapeutic targets and
prognostic biomarkers. Currently, she leads studies on the therapeutic potential
of the HH pathway and the screening of new anticancer drugs, collaborating with
national and international teams to advance oral cancer treatment.
